IX Web Hosting has been around since 1999 but has maintained their profile as a smaller hosting company with around 110,000 clients hosting 470,000 websites. Less customers means that you get a more personal customer support experience. Their zero-risk guarantee includes a week of free web hosting, you will not be charged for any services until after the 7 day trial period has ended. Based out of Columbus Ohio their online reviews are typically quite positive and paint them as an easy to use and reliable service.

As of May 2019 it seems that their technical support has moved to a call center in India, a change that caused some controversy among IX Web Hosting users. It should be noted that most web hosts use or own overseas call centers, if it is important to you to be able to speak to a service rep in the United States you might consider using InterServer.

How to use Promo Codes on IX Web Hosting

I personally found it a bit tricky to find the promo code box on IX Web hosting, so I thought I’d help you guys out. Once you select the hosting plan that you want, you’ll be taken to a purchase page where you can enter your contact and payment information. But where is the space to enter the promo code? If you are using the second code for 10% off above, you don’t actually need to enter anything as it is applied to your order automatically. There will be an item in the list at the end showing it: Like this.

If you are purchasing a long enough hosting plan to use the other coupon code (the top one) then you will need to reveal the coupon code box. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the purchase page, and under the itemized list of what is included in your order is a link that says ‘Have an Employee Code or Promo Code?’.

When you click on that link it will pop open the area where you can enter your promo code (the box on the left). You may get a message saying that you are already using the ‘WINNER’ code, which is applied to all orders for new customers automatically. You can now enter any other promotional codes and combine offers.
