- The Fun Part: Shop! Find all the pictures and images that you desire on this visit to Getty’s website. Click “add to basket” for each image and when you’re ready to buy, click “view basket”.
- Before you can use a promo code, you need to either sign in or register an account. Once you do, click on a blue link that says “have a promo code?“. This link is located just below the green button that says “continue with purchase”:
- Enter the Coupon Code. After you enter the coupon, click “Apply”. If it’s a valid code, it will say “promo code has been applied to cart”.
- Continue with your purchase. After the code has been applied, continue with your purchase as your normally would. And you’re done!

Since it’s founding, it has acquired and purchased dozens of smaller stock photo and archive companies. Getty Images then digitized their archives, which allowed for them to be used for online material. It currently has over 80 million stills and illustrations.
Getty Images has also expanded beyond stock images: they offer video, music and sound effects for use in all kinds of production.
They are currently based out of Seattle, Washington. Getty Images was sold to the Carlyle Group in 2019 for $3.3 Billion.
